    this rolling succession, this cascade of hottest individual months ever recorded, which continued into April, is actually the start of a new ice age.

    that seems perfectly clear. The succession of warmest months on record is actually part of an ice age. you're onto something here.

    Copernicus Climate Change Service was reported yesterday saying the 12 months to April was actually the first time when the rolling mean temperature anomaly exceeded the 1.5 C upper limit aspirational target set at the 2015 Paris climate conference.

    so over the past 12 months, the record warmth is actually the start of a new ice age.
