wow Birdbrain you might be onto something there, as in it can't be both.
you might not realize but the outcome of the variables in this scenario aren't fixed.
isn't it normal that when adults of our species can't predict the future even after the cbest of modelling that they say 'we don't know'.
of course i'm not referring to windbags like @zipperlip below who insists all the natural calamities we're seeing are merely a "rebalancing of weather". Zippy can't even say climate change, locked as he is in the denial echo chamber.
rest assured birdbrain, when scientists have learnt more about Ireland's future climate they may be in a position to be more definite. And anyway birdie, what's wrong with scientists saying 'we don't know.' It can excite curiosity, something notably absent in climate deniers.
