If you have a site that has suffered coastal erosion of course a storm surge that hits at high tide will cause much more damage.
If you have a coastline that has had groins, marinas or rock walls put in place to protect infrastructure.
These obstacles will only push the issues further along the coastline.
If you build a massive amount of infrastructure on marshy ground and suck groundwater out to keep the grass green, the infrastructure sinks down.
Florida has the sinking feeling, it’s not the sea level rising but the weight of the infrastructure pushing the ground down.
You can keep your head staring at your colon but the information is there if you are willing to look for it.
