@dave sss, I think we want the same things, such as reduction in pollution and move to renewable energy that is a cheaper. The difference I think is in the timing. You may want it to happen by 2050, while I'm happy to do it by 2100.
My main criteria is that whatever we implement is cheaper, produces less overall pollution and is fully recyclable in practice. Taking more time to do it right is preferable to me. So, we may get an extra 0.4 °C of temperature increase, but this would be preferable from the point of view of minimising temperature related deaths which are currently running at 90% due to excessive cold. Would be nice to be more centered.
