I’d be very surprised if they didn’t have a low tractor loader on site to move rigs / rods etc around considering the size of the campaign @AGreatYear ; the rigs will generally just be moving in 100m intervals in any case and well able to do that under their own steam, so on site moved movement shouldn’t be an issue.
Drilling in the wet isn’t an issue; personally I’d hate it with the humidity , flies and sweat; but I’ve seen drill crews motor on regardless during the wet; December as per your chart would no doubt be a closed period ; as for the rest of the year....well if they were to only drill in the dry in DRC, then there would be a lot of broke drilling business as they’d only have a 3 month operating window per year.

I totally agree with you there. Surely they could have retained the rigs they already had on site even just to get things moving considering the issues they had in getting rigs to Manono initially ; even if just for part of the campaign in order to get things moving till another drill operator mobilised if necessary ...much to my surprise; I heard about two weeks ago that they were evaluating drill tenders!
Got me thinking that they were either drinking on the job or possibly there may already be something brewing behind the scenes going on behind the scenes and we may never see the drill campaign under AVZ....May have seen the best $13m ever spent by Huayou.
