Fool, what if there is a process, which needs less than half the current electricity required to make say Aluminium ( amongst other metals )here in Oz?
The kroll process is yesterday's tech, your a yesterday man, going nowhere say backwards.
Have a look at technology which can produce an abundance of metals using less electricity and even better producing less GHG emissions, by the solid oxide membrane electrolysis procedure.
