Interesting…I find it hard to believe…considering the damage it would do to Australia's image and reputation - looking forward to substantiation. Not that I consider Manus island or Nauru unworthy of our illegal blow-ins….but I would like them fed and living in decent conditions. As someone who has lived in tents for months on end myself…voluntarily and not paid a lot …I wouldn't want them too comfortable. Humanely housed and treated - unless they act up…and until they are returned.
