"MGMT isnt a risk at all no matter how useless they are. The revenue stream for Relenza is set to explode."

    Forbes40,
Don't you consider Biota management complying with every action of GSK isn't a risk, when GSK has focused on developing vaccines, and only mentions Relenza when there's interest in the consequences of Tamiflu resistance, to then concentrate on advertising the progress of their vaccines.

Do you remember that GSK was spouting 2 million dollars being spent on vaccines and Relenza, when the demand was for more Relenza. How often did GSK explain 1.8million of the 2 million dollars was spent on vaccines alone? Why wasn't it made a priority by Biota management to point out the subterfuge GSK was deliberately using?

GSK had three factories making Relenza before bird flu/Tamiflu resistant seasonal flu/swine flu and the risk of DEADLY pandemic influenza. Guess how many GSK factories make Relenza now?

So the uselessness of Biota management doesn't matter? REALLY?

It doesn't matter that NO business or affiliated advertising budget has existed to represent Relenza for over ten years?

That wouldn't explain why over half of doctors still don't know what Relenza is?

Relenza must be the only product I have ever heard of that is driven SOLELY by the informed authorities in medical organisations who are screaming and kicking for GSK's Relenza to be available in quantities high enough for authorities to be able to mention Relenza in public without looking stupid when there simply isn't enough Relenza available to provide as a solution anyway.

IV zanamivir was inexplicably dropped in the 90's for Biota by GSK and never mentioned again, and yet IV paramivir (as faulty as Tamiflu with H274Y resistance)is supported and advertised by Biocryst and will build Biocryst's future, and make money for the shareholders of Biocryst as the "only injectable solution."

The only reason Relenza uses GSK's proprietary Diskhaler is so GSK makes MORE MONEY. It doesn't matter to GSK and the intellectuals on this thread don't think it matters that Biota are useless, so children under 7 years of age, and elderly patients will DIE because Relenza isn't used with a better inhaler, and people and doctors avoid Relenza because the inhaler is too complex to use, which means lower sales, which doesn't matter to GSK and it doesn't matter to Biota management because there's a comfortable stash of cash in Biota's bank balance till the next pipeline needs to be cashed in, and you intellectuals deserve what you get, which is another year of reasons shareholders got NOTHING, but sure,it wasn't Biota's management fault, "because MGMT isnt a risk at all no matter how useless they are"

Frankly I've had enough explaining this to all the people who support this thread, the information has been building over years, it explains why Biota share price is a joke, because Biota management is a joke, which is why GSK treats Biota as a joke.

Do the research yourselves, and find out how big a risk useless management are, you might even notice they deliberately aren't useless to themselves and GSK, only Biota and shareholders.
Look up the details of the Biota GSK law suit, a useless Biota management.
Look up the details of the Gilead Roche law suit, a useful Gilead management.

Look up the actual suicide rates of Relenza compared to Tamiflu, compared to the warning added to Relenza automatically(at GSK's insistance), whenever Tamiflu is forced to include a warning.

Look up the "discovery" of neuraminidase inhibitors and the priority Gilead had to discover Tamiflu, compared to the discovery of Relenza by Biota.

Look up the production numbers for Tamiflu with a useful Gilead management. and Relenza with a useless Biota management, including the advertising and gifts to doctors, the inundation of info-advertising articles and free samples (and therefore free clinical trials) to WHO (oh, that's right, GSK has given free samples of vaccines only to the WHO), meeting targets of production and demand.

Compare the number of articles that print 'Tamiflu and Relenza" when the details are specific to Tamiflu only.

How many articles warn the public of DEATH if a vaccine isn't available and if Tamiflu resistance is widewpread(because obviously, Relenza doesn't exist, except in NZ).

How often has more than one parcel of Relenza been waiting to be delivered when ordered, compared to the number of times a country had to be waiting years to receive delivery when ordering Relenza?
Is it realistic to believe that enough Relenza would be delivered to cause a revenue stream to explode?

How many years did GSK shelve the LANI invented by Biota? Did Biota develop LANI,or did Sankyo even when Biota was half way there, and with a better molecule?

Sankyo developed LANI and bought the right to manufacture and sell LANI in Japan, will useless Biota management bother scratching their behind, let alone make something to sell.

    Enough,enough,enough!

Obviously there's only one thing more risky than useless management, that's USELESS SHAREHOLDERS.

I hope you get to understand what I think of you before it gets banned.
