HSP you don't know what you are talking about . Evolution was not around 5 years ago ,the combined enity is a combination of Catalpa and Conquest. In fourth quarter 2008 CQT was around 6 cents equating to around 1.8cents in todays restructure. A long way to go to get to 1.8 cents. In any case this is all irrelevant, has with time, the companies reserves, operational structure,commodity prices and many other factors need to be factored as all contribute to market cap.
Comparing a company over time using only one tool (gold price ) is clearly irrational and biased.
Whilst I acknowledge the drop in gold price has contributed to the share price redudtion,it has done so on the basis that EVN is a producer and reliant on sales. In 2008 EVN/CQT was an explorer.
