Do you know where to find more information about their synthetic cannabinoids? The guy who invented the original jwh series ("spice") contributed so much to cannabis receptor chemistry but he's known as the guy that made zombie cannabinoids. He now lives as a hermit in the mountains somewhere, he definitely doesn't get the credit he deserves.
such precise control at the cannabinoid receptor means scientists could find a compound with the pain killing effect without psychoactivity. It's very interesting chemistry but unfortunately the "spice" connection has dampened research into these compounds.
