you say that - yet those of us who have been telling about the health system for years - have been constantly told that we are whining, that we have the best health system in the world and we are in the best country in the world


but, wait - that was last week - now, this week - it doesn't suit????


many of us on here can give you lists of horror stories a mile long over many many years

in health - as in any part of our society - it comes down to the individuals you are dealing with on the day.

Several months a back - I got dammed close to the best service I've ever had from anyone at all - in any industry or business -


and, that person was a Queensland public servant - who went way beyond the call for me ------------ used their head and went way outside what the rule book said to do --

actually provided Public service

that person should have been running the department - and, in years to come - hopefully will be.

Same same in health - but, you don't get them often
