They were not able to simply say " we reaffirm guidance" because they were asked very specifically by ASX if the figure for the year ended 30 June 2006 would vary from the previous corresponding period by more than 15%.
Tha ASX question referred to "change in profit from ORDINARY activities"
I would assume that "ordinary activities" does not include the ecrypt sale.
