I think that 96c is old data.from the original 500m at $1
prior to $1.50 for 301m shares
and $485m for the latest payment.(less than 15m defaulted so to speak)
Having rung the company earlier this month they stated an asset backing of $1.70 +
The way I read it is that Macquarie as underwriter got stuck with 58% of the second issue at $1.50 and need to dispose of some of these due to asx rules ???(by march03)
I have no real idea why the price is so low but its what the market thinks its worth.
