I always wondered if ASIC did not give the Premium Income Fund complaints the attention they deserved because of the political ties to former directors/CEO's etc of MFS/Octaviar not to mention past employees of ASIC.

Deborah Beale, former wife of Bill Shorten was on the MFS board from Jan 2007 to Feb 2008. It was during this time that the shite really hit the fan and millions of $ were allegedly misappropriated and some dodgy documents were cleverly created. Who knows what Andrew Peacock was doing apart from being well renumerated!
