Hi Lew. Sure, the Iraqis voted, and the result was a surprise to all, maybe even them. lol. But since the vote, the bloodbath continues and US casualties grow. Ethnic and sectarian splits widen. The Turkish speaking ethnic Iraqis are being downtrodden by the Kurds, of all people.The US will never control Iraq while the last Iraqi breathes. Eventually the US will do an undignified pullout, as they did in Vietnam, and the various Iraqi factions will continue to kill each other. Regardless of what the spin-doctors say, Georgey Porgy Bush has blown it in Iraq.
