There is a saying "gold is where you find it"
Look at the existing infastructure and its proximity to markets, as well as the quality of the ore. One could raise a private army and maintain it to protect this investment for only a "poofteenth" of the cost of building such infastructure.
Tony Sage is heading towards "hero" status as far as I am concerned. I am being pleasantly surprised.
