Seldom is a body of mineralization a homogenous unit. It is made up of high grade zones and low grade zones. The results published so far by mtn are calculations of tonnage to an inferred resource status using historical drilling data. Many old drillholes end in mineralization and many holes were not included in the calculations due to poor records ( either of position or analysis). Exoil, CRA and Goldstream all drilled intersections of greater than 1m (sometimes > 5m ) of 5 kg (A$480) per ton or 0.5% U3O8. Hodgkinson prospect has intersections of >20kg (A$3900) per tonne or 2% U3O8. Mineralization is open in many directions including depth in the Mt Gee JORC compliant analysis. Calculations on the Armchair-Steitberg, Hodgkinson and East Painter prospects will bring a clearer picture of the total tonnage of uranium available with respect to the integrated historical data. There is probably good opportunity to increase this tonnage considerably by further drilling. Any talk of commerciality,pro or con, of the project is premature. It is a good exploration project containing a large ammount of a highly sought after commodity. There is over 20 sqkm of mineralized ground. Alot of further work using modern technology is warranted.
