Did our beloved treasurer recently grant a tax benefit to Australian companies looking for oil deposits ? Based on $1 tax deduction for every $1 spent ?
I've only heard this second hand and can't recall reading it anywhere .
Note that Faber was also looking for China to enter into a recessionary type phase for 2004 which ain't happened yet although is still possible some time next year . Govt's don't normally increase interest rates just once in 9 years . lol Unless China's going to make history . It's great to see that not only are they trying to talk down the growth story but they're willing to do something about it as well .
When does America stop using oil for it's main source of heating ? Australia gave that up 20 years ago .
