I haven't done any serious technical work on it myself but my gut feel is that Dukas probably has a good shot of finding helium-rich gas, but the key risk is reservoir. The Amadeus is a very old, tight basin and the target for Dukas is right at the bottom of the stratigraphy so it's been buried deep even by Amadeus standards. Very few of the wells drilled in the basin have found permeable reservoir, only three commercial fields, and only two of those have any matrix permeability - PV is a fractured reservoir.

The trump card is the helium which should significantly increase the value of the gas and allow commercial development of a much lower gas rate such as I would expect from such a tight reservoir. If they find a big enough field to justify development (which would be very expensive in such a remote location) then the potential is mind-boggling. That's a very big if at this stage, but that's what exploration is about. Drill enough 10% COS wells and eventually you'll strike it rich.
