'The Oz' has a lengthy article on Monday 4 April 2022 about Australia's export earnings skyrocketing.
While a general comment, it shows the importance of thermal (and metallurgical) coal exports for every Australian, as governments "profit" from taxes plus higher direct and indirect employment.
It should shut the dangerous, Marxist Greens (including lunatics such as Blockade Australia) up but one knows better than to hope for that:
"...Coal export earnings – for both thermal and metallurgical – in 2021-22 will reach an estimated $110bn, becoming only the second export commodity to earn more than $100bn after prices spiked to 50-60 per cent above the record levels reached last year..."
