science has become a religion lacking in scepticism and being parroted by people who have probably never bothered to read a journal. The amount of insane theoretical specualtion that abounds throughtout it because someone managed to fit a mathematical model to something is no less riduclous than creationism.
Science isnt a single organism, its made up of people and like people it can absolutely be riddled with mistakes and biases. Go read some stats journals and watch these guys tear up the materials and methods on papers published in medical journals for some nightmare fuel. Happens all the time. Stop worshipping science.
