Sometimes the best buying is when things look the blackest. What has occurred at KF is very disappointing but I dont think management can be fingered for that. There is a lot of luck involved in gold exploration. Then they get a blip at Henty. Cheez that must have given them the pip.
It isnt all over at Bendigo just yet. Thats a pretty valuable plant, for a start, if all fails resource wise. Its pretty new and has 600,000 tons capacity-no small fry. What would it cost to buy one of those? Maybe thay can ship it off to Ghana and put some of that ore through it.
How the local govt at Bendigo must be feeling after forcing them to start mining at the wrong end I dont know, but most politicians have pretty good forgettories for their mistakes.
Me? I bailed at 18.5 cents and it immediately began its run to 28c. Id waited a long time and just got off a stop short of the bit of prize money.
Now do feel a bit better.
Hope springs eternal in gold, but the money is in energy, mainly.
