For what it's worth, when I contacted BSM to ask whether there was any truth in the rumours, they responded with a "no comment" (as expected), except to confirm that they used to hold the Tullah tenement.
There does seem to be some sense in looking at the possibility of using the Hellyer plant for any base metals produced from the Tullah tenement, and the Henty plant for BSM's gold processing, if it proves to be suitable.
And the remaining cash kitty at UML could be used to fund BSM's precious metals expansion plans.
Then there's the plant sitting idle at Bendigo, some or all of which could perhaps be utilised in Tasmania.
