A dividend seems like a double edged sword?
1. When the dividend gets paid out or even anticipated the SP drops.
2. When a dividend is anticipated and not forthcoming the SP drops?
In the later example the Company has held on to their fruits and not rewarded the current shareholders.
This action alone should have a positive spin on the SP.
One because the company as not divided out its current gains to shareholders.
Secondly future investors would be licking their lips for a possible bounty?
