on the latest reserve statement I only see an additional 16Mt of high grade/low contaminant material in the main pit that is not currently in reeerves. We have been told some is beneath the proposed pit floor, but the majority sits to the west. Whilst Going a little deeper may be possible and would result in some additional ore at relatively little cost, the bulk Of the material to the west would require substantial waste removal and it is unclear whether this is technically possible. Others on this thread have indicated that material is also high in silica.
it has been stated they are looking for a copper acquisition, so will be interesting to see what they pick up.
