although the report does not provide definitive recovery data ,with the information supplied we can make some conclusions and estimates
There is a defined hydrometallurgical process with a carbon concentrating step
This process with Bamboo Creek Tailings results in a concentrate which is 10% to20% of the original
This concentrate contains 10,000gm/tonne or approx. 330oz/tonne of Au/PGM
From this a 10% recovery would produce 33,000,000 ozAu/PGM from the 1,000,000 tonnes of tailings
with a 15% concentrate 50,000,000 oz Au/PGM
The euopean smelters require a>3% Au/PGM the above would be 10%
When the smelters agree to smelt a contact will pay for ore as per assays. What % of the value the smelter pays has not been disclosed
Regarding cost. The tailings have minimal extraction cost. From Goldcorp data the process indicated would have a cost of about US50 per tonne
