a while back irc said they were having such trouble with getting labs to do work for them they were setting up one inhouse, not thinking about setting one up but setting one up. no mention of that in the past qtrly i could see.
as i see it, mick ruane owning like a third of this thing, a man in his mid 60's, means he is gonna want to get his return on it sooner rather than later. he is using words like 'forseeable future' and 'near at hand' in several quarterlies, so as not to get crucified for delays.
we might get a breakthrough in 2009, else maybe 2010. then, given dr ruane's age i can see JV or sale of the project - time is against him more than alot of us.
