Patient capital - really? What would he know, he never has to contribute any. His shares / options are awarded to him for peanuts, and he's sold out for 10s of millions. Easy to sit back in a $20+ million dollar home, purchased with proceeds from other shareholders while multi-million dollars of annual remuneration roll in from his stable of biotechs, and be patient.
Not so easy for those that have stumped up real cash, seen great swathes of it eroded by Hopper's discounted awards to himself, his investor buddies and his staff.
His hubris is bottomless.
