I may have misinterpreted the conversation but cows, goats, camels and sheep have been milked for centuries and I haven’t once herd them complain. If they had calved they would be being stripped by the calf. You can’t leave milk in the udder otherwise they will start to dry up. So in turn they need to be stripped if you want them to produce milk or wait till they go through both process again.
