My bathrooms like yours with no floor drainage and about 22 years old but have never had a problem. Pond problem and electrical burn out crap plus constant doctors visits and lack of sleep getting just tiresome. Always easier for living as a couple when things go wrong as opposed to being responsible for the lot. Old friend I have been reacquainted with has also sourced someone who has tech skills for me to speak to. Will follow that up after all health crap sorted. Excellent doctor who has referred me for tests where they bulk bill all then if further action needed has said you would be on a waiting list for years so spend there and save where WE can. Also she is conscious of number of physio visits I can claim per year on extras. Nice of her to think of both my purse and health and she has a small award in her room for Registrar of the Year. Told me it was awarded some 15 years ago. Outdoor hot water system of mine has a valve that is supposed to be lifted until water flows then closed again. I do occasionally do it. Think it is recommended every 6 months.

that valve you speak of biggy is what I was explaining to tau to check. You have a storage type unit which needs topping up. Tau would have an instantaneous unit which works a different way and a tad more complicated with a few more things which can go wrong. @Taurisk , make sure you check your circuit breaker also. Another tip with your type is when you have the bath hot tap on and it’s still cold water, try turning on the vanity hot tap as well and might fire it up.
