I agree JHird and Rob, problem is i think we have already tried the "top 200" stocks only and everyone was pissed to say the least. Only due most people using hotcopper are into low end scale stocks for quicker percentage rates.
Problem is if mods make the competition not allowing stocks with a value under $0.10, it makes it hard to police with the competition opening up 10days prior to the start of the month. People might choose stocks on the 22nd which are at 0.11 but in 10 days time be trading at 0.08. This would cause the competition not allowing that person to enter, then come the start of the month we get whingers saying i put tips in but im not in blah blah blah etc..
I like Robbbs idea alot of market caped stocks.
On another note though, if HC was to make like 1 comp for blah stocks and another comp for blah stock and etc.. etc.. etc... i think multiple comps would just confuse everyone.
HC might just have to say top 500 stocks only, surely 500 stocks to choose from is big enough? There is currently 1,357 stocks to choose from in this comp alone.
Anyhows... here is the weekly update of the top 20 picked stocks. I must say i'm impressed with the tippers, only 4 stocks are currently in the red as of 5 days of trading.
Once again if anyone is tinking they would also like me to include something else into the tables, let me know on this thread.
