From what I've heard a deep water well like that costs 50 mil which is too much for kik. Even NDO who could go alone want to de risk and drill 20 times over the next four years. At the AGM it was noted that it wasn't just the major oil companies that wanted to JV in, There were National Oil Companies that have the money but not the expertise and want to be involved. At the end of the day kik have the best management and will get a good deal.
