what a tense movie ...few details...lots of nothing really.
Its about the initial dumping of debt/mortgages by a large unnamed us player that anticipates GFC and their own overleveraged positions...so relatively small shareprice drop was going to wipe them out...so they dumped their stock/positions knowing it was going to be worthless...
Its sort of only half a story,imo.
of the typeof actions that probably started a domino effect that started a tsunami of margin calls globally.
The plot was detatched from so many factors/aspects that it felt like watching a math sum being added up in a void..
What a waste of talented actors,imo. Much better GFC docos around,imo.
I dont think it was particularly enlightening for those who dont follow such things and wasnt very comprehensive for those who do.
A picture about little personalities not a huge raging disaster..
