margin calls

Hi all,

Just wondering if anybody knows whether a margin call is triggered during the day or only on market close?

i.e. if the security value of the stocks breaches the margin level during the day but closes higher, what happens?

I am anticipating a call Monday with copper and gold getting smashed again Friday night!
