I would’ve thought wheat was a useful comparison. With technology wheat can be grown almost anywhere, hurdles to production are very low, it’s a renewable resource, it’s weather dependent, doesn’t have to meet the requirements of kitchen ovens, rarely has major contaminants, you don’t have to preagglonerate it, it goes on and on. All the things IO isn’t.
