I personally have extreme and based doubts about the importance of the "margin": in shares like Kar.
If you check and follow in details the share base of Kar you will see the level of retail buyers (the main users of such resources) are very low.
Also,because is so well covered by so many and different brokers this retails are highly spread and diversified,meaning..also you don't have so big individual investor... BUt a big group on investors spliting the small amount of money
The last report show around 15% in retail hands and a huge number of holders...'
Its very unlikely imagine that even 0.10% of shares are leverage with loans (where the margin call could cause some problem)... And even that increase of margin call (lets say from 35% to 30% meaning aditional 5% in "guarantee", the reflection will be close than none.
Anyway...
The market is waiting news..
A good new can promote a good upside .
