Given the remoteness of Leviathan I thought I would have a look at the announcements from NMR’s nearby Helios #1 progress to gauge more precise timing.
No good there as their drilling updates are significantly lacking in detail. All I could find was an announcement on 24/1/2022 of them securing a drill rig with drilling planned to commence in March 2022 and then announcements on 9/3/2022 and 10/3/2022 where they were nearing 350m in depth and would cease drilling at that point and then an intention to continue drilling to 500m or beyond as they had originally planned.
The only thing this helped with is an expectation that SOR should have already secured a drill rig if planning to maximum government funding for the drilling campaign.
