    This was discussed in quite a bit of detail on this forum after the OGW article pointing to the same site. I also pointed people to this site over a year ago to check on their production figures.

    No one is arguing that they have produces squat gas, I wouldn't trust them to organise a p*** up in a brewery. But that is not the point, Marion's future sp (the reason we all invested) will be determined by the sale price, not it's production. When GS recommended selling the company and/or assets in February it officially changed the way Marion would be viewed/valued. I'm just glad its GS selling the company not the directors.

    As for the water, from looking at other operators in the area, it does not seem unusual, especially for wells being started up. look at Devon's FLY/DIA L BOREN 1-14A2 well. It has produced a truck load of gas, but also 3.2 million barrels of water. (611 million litres). Before it's gas production dropped off, it was still producing 2 million litres per month & that is for a mature well. There are many other similar examples.
