The 'AFR' posted this in teh early arvo of Wednesday 6 October 2021:"The wharfies union has lifted its month of rolling strike action at the Port of Melbourne after a coronavirus outbreak took out a third of the workforce of a major stevedore, putting critical pressure on the state’s supply chain.
A total of 109 employees at Patrick Terminals–Melbourne were on Wednesday forced into isolation for 14 days after they were deemed close contacts of two unlinked coronavirus cases discovered among the workforce..."
