China got the jump on the supply chain for Lithium for E/V's batteries , storage during 2017 ....& the U.S. is missing out.
Wall street is not sure how to handle (control) this new 'Lithium sector'.
So (Feb.) Morgan Stanley reports that an oversupply looming & shorts the whole sector in U.S..
presently the major suppliers SQM ALB FMC etc are about 25% down from Feb. highs.with small caps down 50%...
The London Metals Exchange (LME ) is adding Lithium & creating a 'Futures' market to handle spot & long term contracts... Maybe then Wall St. & London metals exchange will have more confidence in this new Sector.
when the Lithium Market turns this company will 'out perform ' IMO.
