Below are some recent links I have found. It would also be worth reviewing the prospectus on the company website.
Catapult has had a lot of publicity lately both on the internet and in printed media. A very exciting opportunity given the market share it currently holds and the market growth it has the capacity to capture.
And yes - Mark Cuban is an investor and was on board well before Catapult announced it's IPO. In fact, the Dallas Mavericks (owned by Mark Cuban) were the first NBA team to jump on board.
You only need to look as far as the clients that Catapult has on board (all AFL clubs, most NFL clubs, most NBA clubs and some of the supreme soccer clubs). Given the current client base, the potential to expand not only through NFL, NBA, Soccer and College sports but into horseracing and other elite sports this presents as a very attractive opportunity.
There was also an article I came across on Catapult called "Float Watch" prepared by wise-owl.com. Although IMO it lacks some substance it makes reference to the fact that the majority of the IPO funds raised will be put towards marketing. This suggests two things - the fact that the Catapult product/technology is highly efficient in its current form and also that Catapult is very bullish towards marketing and increasing market share. Not to mention that Catapult recently acquired one of its competitors (GPSSports from memory).
Another point of interest to consider is the valuation behind the IPO. How comparable were the peer companies that were used to determine an IPO SP for Catapult. Once this stock starts to trade the market depth will give a good indication of the demand at the listed price.
