At the end of the day AFL premierships are very very hard to come by. Some teams have gone for forty or fifty years without a sniff. Freo appear to be on form heading down this path. At the end of 2010 after a promising year most supporters duly thought that 2011 would be their best chance of winning a flag. Alas for one reason or another it just didnt happen. IMO their 2011 season set the club back another 2 or 3 years. Freo management under this sort of pressure have resorted to desparate measures to counter the problem hence no care for Mark H or anyone else getting in their way. Fremantle football club is desperate for a flag and todate have not been a patch on their cross town rivals with regard to success. Am not sure that Ross L will make much diff as many of the freo stalwarts are going to be put out to pasture. Rebuild for Freo.
