blackoil, I would like to see it happen, we need an effective opposition party in Australia, not this bunch of labour no-hopers and hangers-on parading around.
But I would be surprised if there is anything but some shallow, cosmetic changes.
When the rot and corruption of the party is so deep, real changes are generally impossible.
It will be interesting to see and judge what changes, if any come.
I would hope that labour and whatever supporters they might still have, are sensible enough to take this as a wake-up call and start the difficult and long process of a complete clean-out of the ranks from top to bottoms, and to start on the re-build.
