Latham has at least given the opposition a shot, depending on his performance and approval rating over the next six months. Do date he is a loud mouth basically unknown. Being the loud mouth has helped him gain some notoriety. He joined in the popular bagging of Bush and the US only to do a backflip once he became the leader. He would know only too well that business is what will get him over the line not the anti war vote.
Unfortunately being a Pollie doesn't actually allow them to be true to themselves so we may never know but if you are taking wages on Latham being the next PM then I have $5k that says nope.
