Up to 530 international arrivals are permitted per week. Double vaccinated people can still be carriers. Orderly migration flow continues to be warranted, our economy is fine and COVID isn't killing anyone here. Internally, we are probably still the one of 'freest' residents in Australia. In time we will be open again and free to travel.
Why would you want to travel at this stage anyway? If i'm not wrong, globally we are still classified as being in a pandemic and as such will insurance policies cover you during this period if you get sick from covid or your travel is disrupted because of it?
