    I can see the reasoning for health at present, but now I see a real problem with delaying too long to open up.

    WA needs about 3-4 months to go through virus spread, at a low flat curve of hospital demand that can be serviced over time. The good weather of summer and spring helps slow spread.... If WA hasn't past peak by winter I believe we are in for absolute catastrophic load on hospitals due to winter spike from closer contact and other circulating infection types. I believe we need to start soon to allow Omicron to spread, it is a fast spread if not mitigated but 4 times lower mortality than Delta.

    A big mistake to delay too long as it will shift the hospital congestion problem to a much worse season. Winter.

    The feds have been chronically underfunding Australian hospital system for decades, we have no slack.
