DaveR, they had to change the rules around Govt. handouts for new housing, initially they ( new homers owners) had to start building within 3 months of the slab( concrete foundation) been poured.
But there just arent enough brick layers here in WA for starters.
Add lack of building materials ,labour , and you have deadline blowouts.
I note john hammond ( lawyer) is in charge of a class action in relation to the housing repairs in Kalbarri, a thousand ks north of Perth.
Christ knows where the labour for that is gunna come from.
While some seek perfection from McGowan, I, most probably because I live in this state, understand what he can and cant do.
Unless something really goes tits up, I cant see the WA libs in power here for at least another two terms.
