Most likely big business pulling the strings having a tantrum about loss of profits from border closure.

Bagging McGowan for a dodgy agenda is a waste of time, hes done a better job with covid than the other states, and has managed states finances very well, as you would expect form a bean counter.

Scomo has done a reasonable job as well, he is just a bit too compromised by big business and religious fairy tails.
