i think it would have been the DPP that dropped the charges rather than ASIC.
there is no doubt the charges against MP caused immeasurable damage to QTK. the connotation of fraud against the managing director made many people question the legitimacy of the chinese contract. the subsequent delays obviously have not helped but the rot really set in with the fraud charges and the abandonment of the thorney placement.
i think its disgraceful that ASIC can bring charges against a man, cause immeasurable damage and financial losses to that companies shareholders, only for the DPP or whoever to decide at the last minute that there is insufficient evidence to go to trial.
the facts are that MP's name has been unfairly tarnished and that has rubbed off onto QTK. it is outrageous.
