Here's an interesting factoid for the students of history:
This is quite a bit premature, but I remembered tonight that we are a little over 12 months out from the 50-year (yes, 50-year) anniversary of the legendary late-1960s Poseidon Nickel bubble (i.s. Sept, 1969 ($0.80) to Feb, 1970 ($280.00!)). That's a 350-bagger, boys and girls!
An interesting in-depth paper about it can be found here (pdf - pp.24-29). The entire paper is a good read, actually.
It kinda makes IGO's 37-bagger look rather pedestrian by comparison (i.e. Jan, 2002 IPO listing @ 25c through to its all-time high in Feb, 2008 of $9.39).
